Textile mountain™
We sell fabrics and haberdashery with a story!
Textile Mountain is the first shop to only sell surplus fabrics, textile and haberdashery. We are an ecological option for your home-made projects! Our shop also serves as a studio workshop for public sewing courses.
We offer
Untraditional and unique fabrics from Czech factories, fashion studios and creative folks
Here you’ll find it all – luxurious materials of first-class quality, original designer pieces which you’ll find nowhere else, and also retro or vintage fabrics remembered by your grannies. We have large rolls of fabrics as well as small pieces for mini projects.
What we offer is ever changing, so don’t forget to come back to our shop and online store.
Remember to follow us on social media to find out about our latest updates.
Shop
Our shop can be found in the heart of Prague on Truhlářská street
From January 2021 we can be found on 6 Truhlářská street in Prague’s New Town. Letná branch’s capacity started to be a bit tight, therefore we’re looking forward to welcoming you at our new address.
Events
In cooperation with Project Sapience we organise original workshops and sewing courses
Create your own unique and eco-friendly wardrobe with Project Sapience and learn to sew. Courses are suitable for all, even if you’re a complete beginner or can sew like a pro. The Project Sapience creates unique designs and stylish pieces of clothing and accessories that can be stitched up by anyone. There are no limits to your imagination and even though the initial patterns are the same for all attendees, the results will vary significantly. It is a fun and pleasantly spent time within the creative space of Textile Mountain during which it changes from a shop to a small studio workshop. Small snacks, tea or coffee are also available
